Description

T.B. Allen (Theodore B. Allen), a native of Athens, Alabama, born Dec 1, 1905. He was initiated at Kappa Chapter on January 1, 1927 and graduated with an A.B. from Fisk University. He served the Houston Alumni Chapter as Polemarch, Keeper of Records, Strategus, Chaplain and as a member of the Board of Directors. In 1971 Brother Allen was appointed S.W. Province Polemarch by Grand Polemarch Dr. William Carter during the 57th Grand Chapter meeting in Houston. A former teacher, Allen was employed by the Houston Branch of the United States Postal Service and held the position of supervisor. Brother Allen passed away on September 21, 1982.
