German or French white glazed ceramic figurine. Wounded Amazon. Copy of the one in the Vatican Museums which is a Roman copy of a Greek original by Polycletus (ca. 430 B.C.) Figures glued to bases. Female figure holding upper drapery in sinister (left) hand; dex (right) hand raised and touching forehead.
