Copy of Vatican Liguria Map (Early copy of 16thc painting in Vatican Museum Hall of Maps ) Oil on canvas 1928-07-26 letter (see attached) written by the artist Giulio Cesare GIULIANI (Viterbo 1882 – Rome 1954), refers to the map of the port of Ancona and attests that the three maps were executed by his father-in-law, Eugenio Cisterna (Genzano 1862 – 1933), a painter and decorator active throughout Europe, around 1928.
