16thc Tapestry of 4 people kneeling before a king with men & woman around, (incorrectly identified in documents as Anointing of David or Solomon) approx 8' X 4' from Flanders "Acquired by Henry Davis Sleeper (1878-1934) about 1907 and installed in 1908 in Beauport’s Medieval Hall (present-day China Trade Room). Photographed in situ in Beauport by Thomas Marr in 1910. Sold or gifted to JHH Jr in Summer of 1922 when HDS dismantled the Medieval Hall. Photographed in Bungalow by Thomas Marr in 1922 (Negative No. 23100).
