Marble slab 1 of funeral memorials and fragments imbedded in wall on right side of courtyard archway Partially obstructed by the stone sarcophagus bench Reportedly discovered 1926 in Roman catacombs Probably these are part of the "inscriptions" purchased from Pacific TRANSCRIPTION D(is) M(anibus). C(ai) Lepidi Eutychi . Fecit C(aius) Lepidius Hermeros filio 5suo, qui vixit an= nis III, mensibus X, diebus XXVI. TRANSLATION To the Divine Spirits of Gaius Lepidius Eutychus. Gaius Lepidius Hermeros made (this) for his son, who lived for three years, ten months, (and) twenty-six days [USEP HCM.L.Tmp97.6.31]
