Description

19thc French Pewter Pitcher-Flagon with lid, used for wine. Large loop handles with distinctive thumbpiece, slightly fluted, small flared bases with various turning marks around bases, central section, and below mouth. Distinctive mouth, high above lip, but receding backwards towards handles. Markings: G L 10 (on lid); "Arthur Charbonney" scratched on bottom in script.
