Small tympanum/lunette. Semi-circular slab of marble with bearded Christ figure wearing chlamys; right hand raised in blessing, left hand holds orb-globus cruciger, a cross-topped orb. This was a popular symbol of Christian authority since the Medieval era. With Christ holding the globe, he represents a Salvator Mundi (“Savior of the World’); four angel heads and wings along semi-circular border.
