Hepplewhite style armchair (Martha Washington) with high back, tapered chamfer and graceful un-upholstered arms, back with pronounced serpentine curve. Stretchers are used. Upholstery is H.M. 259. According to catalogue card, armchair needs new upholstery. In Lower Guestroom when Hammond died 1965
