Broken marble stele 1 of funeral memorials and fragments imbedded in wall on left side of courtyard archway Reportedly discovered 1926 in Roman catacombs Probably are part of the "inscriptions" purchased from Pacific TRANSCRIPTION A[---] Hesper c(oniugi) b(ene) m(erenti).
