TRANSLATION
In width, four (feet), (in depth) three? feet. Julia Helpis (made this) for her patron Gaius Julius Doryporus.
COMMENTARY
Line 1 has "in fronte IV pedes" rather than the more usual "in fronte pedes IV." The unclear "IIV" could be a form of the typical continuation of the formula: "in agro pedes (IV)." This formula also typically occurs at the end of such inscriptions, rather than at the beginning, as it does here.
