Originally matched with scenic wall paper brought over from bungalow (now gone)
"Painted balustrade designed to substitute for the missing wallpaper dado normally accompanying Zuber’s Les Zones Terrestres French scenic wallpaper. The Zuber wallpaper, minus its dado, was first installed in JHH, Jr’s bedroom at the Bungalow between 1918 and 1919. Photographed in situ by Thomas Marr in 1920.
