Jacob A. Kimmell was the son of David and Christianna Kimmel.
He served in the Civil War: Union Army Company A., 21ST OH Vol. Infantry. Mustered out with an Honorable Discharge in 1865.
He married (first) Eliza Ellen Bonham on 3 Jun 1869.Jacob married (second) Rose Evelyn Graber on 12 Jan 1875. Jacob was a physician as well as a state congressman in Ohio. He graduated medical school from Case Western
Reserve in 1869.
He died at the age of 77 years, 4 months and 15 days because of uremia.
Jacob was buried 24 Feb 1922.
