It is issued by the Board of Enrollment of the Fifth District of the State of Ohio. The certificate, as per the Act of Congress approved on March 3, 1863, declares that Milton Meyer of Hancock County, Ohio, is exempt from military duty, as required by the act approved on February 24, 1864, because he has furnished satisfactory evidence.
