A letter from Robert Lee telling Patty Chadwell to communicate with Dr. Charles Pope about the sale of Ward-Belmont. Robert reveals that he knows little about the transaction since he was not able to attend many of the meetings.

Context

In one attempt to get Ward-Belmont out of Baptist ownership, the alumni association encouraged alumni to contact any of the forty members of the Tennessee Baptist Convention's Executive Board.
