Collection of items documenting the life of beloved Ward-Belmont high school principal, Annie Claybrooke Allison, "Miss Annie." Items donated by Dakie C. Cowman, author of the biography about Annie C. Allison, Annie Was a Lady, published in 1985. Items include photographs of Miss Annie from her twenties to her seventies, Allison family photographs, school group photographs, and obituary notices of Miss Annie's passing in 1950. The collection also contains two diplomas from Peabody College of Teachers, Bachelor of Arts in 1920 and Master of Arts in 1929, and a sewing kit belonging to Miss Annie that she gave to Dakie Caldwell in 1946.
