Ward-Belmont School presents Mary Weaver in her Dance Diploma Recital, assisted by Advanced Dance Students. Held at the Ward-Belmont auditorium, Thursday evening, April 20, 1944, at 8:15. The recital consisted of three parts, with two five-minute intermissions. Weaver titled her recital "Princess Myrna."

Context

Mary Weaver was a member of the Ward-Belmont class of 1944. Originally from Jacksonville, Florida, Weaver was a dance major and earned her Dance Diploma from Ward-Belmont. She was also a member of the Penta Tau social club, Dance Club ('43 & '44), and Art Club ('43 & '44). The 1944 Milestones yearbook noted the following students in the advanced ballet class who assisted Weaver in her recital: Twila Comer, Mary Louise Bard, Peggy Weber, Leslie Lees, Pat Adams, and Jane Haynes.
