Belmont College recreated Ward-Belmont's tradition of a May Day Festival in 1983. Belmont students elected the May Queen and her court. Several Ward-Belmont alumnae were present at the festivity, to guide the college students, participate in the activities, and speak to the student body. The alumnae who were present later gathered for a reception.Collection
