The 2011 program for the George Washington Day Celebration put on by the class of 2016 when they were in the seventh grade. The celebration was dedicated to Miss Patty Litton Chadwell (1935). George Washington was played by eighth grader Anna Kate Rader Lowry (2015) and Martha Washington was played by eighth grader Lark Morrison (2015). Front cover design by Lillie Penley (2016).Context
The George Washington Day Celebration was a tradition that began at Belmont College for Young Women, developed into a costume ball and dance at Ward-Belmont, and was transferred to Harpeth Hall, where it continued as a special all-school program performed by Middle School students until 2020.Collection
