Scope and Content

Per foreword, the Wordsmiths of Ward-Belmont were a group of young writers who met and read their work for mutual criticism. The members of the club of 1933-34 gathered some of their work of the year which they did not think was finished enough for publication, but which they wished to keep. Includes works by Dorris Fish ’32, Wilma D. Baker ’34, Margaret Young ’35, Winifred Marsh ’35, Helene Loeb ’34, Mary Foute Jones ’34, Nancyann Schmid ’35, Virginia Winston ’34, Mary Marjorie Lincoln ’34, and Gail Lawrence ’35.
