Programs for two joint 1930 recitals presented by Ward-Belmont, featuring dancer Miss Evelyn Jantzer and pianist Mr. Lawrence Goodman. The recitals were held at the Ward-Belmont auditorium, with the first on Friday, February 28, 1930 at 8:30 P.M. (white program with red lettering) and the second on Friday, November 28, 1930 at 8:15 P.M. (blue program). Context

Evelyn Jantzer was the dance instructor within the school of physical education at Ward-Belmont throughout the late 1920s and early 1930s. She graduated from the Savage School of Physical Education and the Vestoff Serova School of Dancing. Lawrence Goodman was the Director of the School of Piano at Ward-Belmont at the time. He was a pupil of Ernest Hutcheson, Josef Lhevinne, and Sigismund Stojowski, and studied at Ferruccio Busoni's Master School for Pianists in Basel, Switzerland. He was also a scholarship pupil at the Peabody Conservatory of Music in Baltimore, Maryland, and taught piano at the Von Ende School of Music in New York City before coming to Ward-Belmont.
