The 2005 program for the George Washington Day Celebration put on by the class of 2010 when they were in the seventh grade. The celebration was dedicated to soldiers who have served in Iraq or Afghanistan. George Washington was played by eighth grader Sabin Nettles (2009) and Martha Washington was played by eighth grader Andee Johnson (2009). Front cover design by Bridget Bailey (2010).Context
The George Washington Day Celebration was a tradition that began at Belmont College for Young Women, developed into a costume ball and dance at Ward-Belmont, and was transferred to Harpeth Hall, where it continued as a special all-school program performed by Middle School students until 2020.Collection
