A postcard featuring an image of "two new buildings and corner of campus" at Ward-Belmont in Nashville, Tennessee. The postcard was a sample of glazed lithochrome style from the E.C. Kropp Co. in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The card required either a one cent domestic stamp or two cent foreign stamp.Context
E.C. Kropp was a printer and publisher that began producing chromolithographic souvenir cards and private mailing cards in 1898 under the name Kropp. The E.C. Kropp Company was later founded in 1907 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and produced large numbers of national postcards and other subjects. The company was purchased in the mid-1950s.Collection
