Dear Miss Irwin,
May I please spend the day with my sister, Mrs. White, to-day? This is her birthday and wants me there for her birthday dinner.
Thank you very much,
I am,
Sincerely,
Charley Merrill
Granted if you don't file again for two weeks,
E. Irwin
