Context

Westerville, Ohio, Dec. 25, '94 Mr. J. H. Harris, Ada, Ohio. Dear Friend:- A happy Christmas to you this morning. This morning finds me at home once more. We landed here last night about six o'clock. Alva, Glen and Ottie came with me, or rather, I came with them. Our train was late to Columbus which made us about two hrs. later getting out to Westerville than we would have been. There has been a complete change in the trains on this road. You can come up from Col. at 12-10, 3-30 & 5-30 P.M. I presume you can make the 3.30 train all right if not the 12-10. We arrived in time to attend part of a Christmas entertainment last evening, where I saw a few of the old students. I can hardly make it seem like home in the new house. I saw Leonard at Hermon last Sun. Everything looks natural except our home, but I feel rather mossyfied. I will write no more at present hoping to see you in the near future. If you get this in time to drop a line and tell what time you will get to Columbus so we will know what train you will come on, I will be obliged, if not it is all right. Some of us will meet you at the train As Ever, Your friend Bertha Your letter just rec'd. I have also learned that the 12.10 train is the fast line and does not stop here so I will look for you on the 3.30 or 5.30 train. Bertha
