Miss Lambert,
Iberia, O.
My Loving Bertha: You of course wish to know where I am. In two hrs I will be steaming for Northfield via Penna Line through Philadelphia and N.Y. thence by steamer to New London etc. I will go with this letter to Crestline, would that I might follow it to your hand.
Say by the way perhaps I may be able to make a short visit with you as I come back if it will be convenient for you, if it will not be convenient of course allright. I would stop at Crestline and run down to your place and spend a few hrs or whatever time seem convenient. I don't know now exactly what day I would get back. But what say you. If you think that will be all right. Will you please let me know as to train time at your place? O I can get the time from time card. I will be likely to get back to Crestline about Tuesday night or Wed. Morning, July 9 or 10, but can determine later.
I must see you ere long either I must go there or you must come to com. or both. My ticket will be limited, but I will simply drop off at Crestline and pay full fare on to Ada.
My add. will be Marquand Hall East Northfield Mass. I suppose I will hear from you soon. My I wish you might make this trip with me. I hope we may enjoy such opportunities sometime. Will you pray daily for me that I may be obedient to the Spirit's directions. May God bless you and make your already pure life beautiful and useful in His sight.
You will please pardon such writing for I never was hurried more I guess.
Devotedly yours,
J. H. Harris.
