Dear Pauline:
Thank you for your interesting letter. Sorry you have been under par. I hope you are feeling better now.
I am so grateful for all that you have done to sort out Dick's financial affairs.
I will be happy to check you list of nieces and nephews if you care to have me do so. My older brother Paul was married twice.
Paul's books have been much admired, and are important elements of my lending library. Please thank him for me.
I hope Missy's birthday party went over with a bang.
I used to send Dick small checks for his flower fund. May I pass that burden on to you? I enclose #1. After they get the cemetery cleaned up, do as you see fit, from time to time, and if you go broke, let me know.
Best wishes to both of you.
Ever sincerely,
Uncle Dan
P.S. How tragic it will be when you run out of stamps!
