Context

[The Bonebrake Theological Seminary, Dayton, Ohio; OCT 2, 1130 AM, 1933; Mr. Richard Harris, 1435 Cornell Drive, Dayton, Ohio] The Bonebrake Theological Seminary Dayton, Ohio J. Ruskin Howe Systematic Theology Oct. 1, 1933. Dear Dick, At our Young Peoples session this morning the following resolution was presented and voted : "Resolved that The First U.B. Young People express to Richard Harris their deep appreciation of his fellowship and his service to our group during the past few years and their profound sympathy in his illness with the hope & prayer that he may speedily recover and resume his active and useful career." This says its own message and doesn't need elaboration by me, I'm sure, but in delivering it to you as I was requested to do I cannot refrain from saying again how I personally have appreciated your work with & for us and your friendship these years. The resolution came from a couple of our officers, without adult suggestion, so you may be sure it was sincere and earnest. Have been meaning to call past to see you again but lest that be delayed again I'll mail this and come anyway when I can. We all join in heartiest wishes for your speedy & complete recovery and in cordial greetings to you all. Sincerely your friend, J. R. Howe
