My dear cousin:-
Sometime ago I received a letter from you asking information relative to the Dille family. I do not have very much information concerning the family aside from my own Grandfather, Lewis Dille. I have much more information concerning the Harris side because I conversed freely with my grandmother Nancy Harris and my father, John W. Harris, taking pretty full notes which I hope to develope [sic] as soon as I have time.
My conference work is very heavy just now but as soon as I get a little time I shall get together the little information I have and will be glad to confer with you as I presume you have fuller information than most anyone else to whom I have access. I think we should gather all the information possible and put it in a permanent form. I shall be glad to do any thing I can in that direction.
Sincerely,
