Dear Ones of the Lambert Tribe. Greeting; as another Thanksgiving Day draws near I do feel very thankful indeed for the numberless blessings we have. You, in Ohio will, we hope gather again for a merry time and we will all think of Dear Alva whose generosity, I believe, started the annual gatherings which mean so much and which we might never have had but for him.
We have been thinking of the Lambert tribe at Westerville. How Father and Mother brought their 5 youngest children there to go to college. All graduated from Otterbein College and nearly all of the in-laws, so now as I can count about Fifty Four college graduates are among Father's children, grand children or son [in]-laws or daughter in-laws. Isn't that a very unusual record. Yes, we are proud of you all. It also seems odd to say that five of our grandsons of the seven — counting our new son-law have been working for Masters degree. Twins rec'd theirs in June, Warren Nelson called home by sickness is now nearly thro. All three 25 yrs old. Alanson working part time in settlement house.

Dan Harris teaches part time in Penn State Univ Philadelphia. He has so much enjoyed meeting his Father's Friends in East. Dan has a job as research man in electrical department. Justin called back to Madison to take a job in extension dep't. I think much of it photographing for motion pictures—not just what he wants but something. David enjoys his work- we call it play. Last week he worked on toy cars got them so they would go so far and then whistle. Now you know what to get the boy for Xmas. Week before I think he went over most of the pipe organs in town. Lots of work for Sears Roebuck and Montgomery Ward.
