Mr. Richard L. Harris,
Grove City, Ohio.
Dear Richard:
Thanks for your communication of some days ago and the check for $55.00 to be applied on the memorial in the new library at Bonebrake Seminary to your father.
I am sure your mother's name should be associated with that of your father's, and I am glad to know that you boys feel that way. I trust I can see you before the names for the plates for the memorials take final form. At least, you and others will be contacted about the matter.
There will be a large register on which all memorials will be listed but as yet we do not know what form the listing of donors will or can take. That is one of the details net yet worked out.
The room which will be set aside in honor of your father is in the $2,500 class and we now have $2,215.00 actually signed for it and $20.00 definitely promised in addition to that actually signed up, which make a total of $2,235.00. I do not know shere the balance is coming from but we must get it from some sources. There are a few tentative promises which may help some, but I do not know how much. If you know of any additional sources I would be pleased to have word from you concerning them.
You will or have received and official receipt for the amount which you sent to me but I am enclosing a receipt in addition to the other one.
I trust everything goes well with you. Give my regards to your mother and other members of the family when you see them or write to them.
Most cordially, yours,
E. E. Harris
