Dear Dan,
I hope all is well with you!
No doubt you received the clippings and copy from Columbus Dispatch (Dec. 1) and Cleveland Plain Dealer (Dec. 13). The original P.D. page original was lost here after I copied it. I'll provide any extra copies if you wish.
My apologies for tardy publication. I delayed the Columbus listing until I could find a Miami Herald notice. Plain Dealer moved their Columbus Bureau to the Neil House, and for some days were hard to locate. I hope you don't mind the slight changes in the wording of the notices.
I was glad to hear about the meaningful memorial service and the interest shown by so many friends for Aletha.
This afternoon I am going to Westerville and will place a holiday wreath on our Harris location in Otterbein Cemetery.
About two months ago I banged a right to against a furniture corner. It has been a bit slow coming back, but now seems gradually better.
Thank you! The Reader's Digest is a nice year-through Remembrance and is much appreciated. Lots of wonderful memories of holidays with you and the family.
Enclosed is a copy of a page in Who Was Who, a follow-up publication to Who's Who. It is surprising to see the accounts for J. Arthur Harris and Joseph H. side by side, and the double listing for Plantsville must be unique.
Some day before long I hope to spend time in the Genealogy section of the State of Ohio Library. If you have specific questions or clues from the materials Dad assembled I'll do what I can to research further. The early census reports of Ohio are available there.
Warmest greetings and beloved memories for the holidays!
Love,
Dick
