Rev. J. H. Harris.
Dear Sir.
Homecoming time is nearing and the committee is casting about in their minds to find a speaker that suits a majority of the citizens here. Every one to whom we have spoken likes the address made by Paul Selby and Eunice and I have decided to ask you to find out if he can be with us for the morning session. Of course we are hoping and expecting you to be with us and engineer the afternoon speaking. Rev. Campbell does not pay much attention to it but wants to fill up the afternoon with those tiresome persons we had last year. Will you kindly let us know real soon, if you can be with us, if we can get Paul, and oh, if we could only have Ellis to sing ever so little. This meeting is a thing very near my heart and I want earnestly to make it a success. It is high time we were getting busy but we have waited for Campbell to lead.
The world is a lovely place now with an abundance of blossoms, lots of green grass, and trees in new leaves.
Wishing you an abundance of blessings, I am Yours Truly
Lillian Rardin
