Dear Dick:
When I got up this morning and looked at the calendar it flashed across my mind "Dick's Birthday!" This will be late in reaching you, but I want you to know that I am thinking of you today. I appreciated your good, long letter and have re-read it many times.
I am considering the possibility of coming up for the Otterbein Commencement this year. It will be my 65th class reunion. Not many of us left, I am sure. I have a warm feeling for Otterbein and you will remember that the three of us were in school at the same time, Paul, Mother and I. I will let you know what I decide to do.
In the meantime I enclose this check for you to use as you see fit. With it I send my best wishes for your health and happiness.
