Tuesday Night.
Dear mother:—
I must write to you in haste tonight. I am in an operetta or musical comedy put on by the High School Alumni next Tuesday night and I play the leading role, so you'll know why I'm busy.
First of all — will you please send me my complete glee club outfit by Special Delivery or by [Frees?] Saturday night as I must have it for the show. I think there is a clean shirt someplace.
Next — if I want to pay the rest of my tuition ($29.50) this month as it is the latest I'll need & can get along on $15.00, so if you deposit it, notify me. I'm sorry to ask for it, but I pd out $50 on tuition already this month & I have a balance of $16.83 and I owe $4 on room rent — so you'll see why.
One of the boys found a black cat which I think is a cousin to Felix and brought it in for the club to adopt but it didn't stay very long because it lost its dinner on our carpet. Nothing else exciting.
I'm so glad you'll get to come up to the reunion — Mable was so pleased to hear it.
The "Y" attendance is still very strong. Last week we had 63, this week (with less publicity) 54.
Well, I must get to bed — sleep is valuable to me.
