Context

RD 1 Fairport, N. Y. January 24, 1956 Reverend and Mrs. James Harris 173Beverly Road Syracuse, N. Y. Dear Jim: I have held the Lambert circle letters for all too long; just blame it on being terribly busy. Actually, we are getting away to Florida on Wednesday morning of this week. Don't worry if this letter is slow getting to you as I am leaving things with my secretary to take care of in the way of typing and thus the letter may not get to you for a couple of days after I leave. I am enclosing a couple copies of the circulation list which I promised to type. I have taken the liberty of putting my name in as No. 15 which follows yours. However, you will, of course, not need to forward it to me but just forward it on to Horace inasmuch as I have already read every letter in it and will have to enclose my letter later. In other words, I will try my best to write a letter from Florida when I have leisure time and will send it to you for inclusion in the group which you send on to Horace. If my circle letter does not reach you before you want to send it on (which, of course, you are at liberty to do), you could then be good enough to send my circle letter on to the person to whom you sent the whole group so that that person could include my letter in the group which goes forward from there on. Gertrude and I both appreciated your interest in sending the Wedgewood book; you were wonderful to do that and above all it was wonderful to see you. We are returning in early March and hope that we can get together in the spring. Sincerely, {Dan} DIMayne Encls. My Florida address is: Ruttger's By The Sea, Fort Lauderdale, Florida
