Dear Paul,
Well, I had three days with my sister Cay (O'Connor) jogging our memories and reviewing hundreds of old photographs with the net result of two photos. They are not in the best of shape; but I've enclosed zerox copies. The one of me in the baby carriage is the most interesting; I think it confirms my suspicion that the photo of Mary Kane is actually with me rather than Jimmie Collett. The angle of the photo is close to the angle of the one of me in the carriage. The two small (bare) trees in the background seem to be identical. It would seem that the location is indeed Mt. Lakes.
The photo of Robert Collett on the see/saw is Mt. Lakes according to the note on the back written by my mother. The other two children are of course my brother and sister. We are not aware who Ruth Mooney is.
It is strange that we would have only one photo of Grandma Kane; yet there hundreds of photos from my mothers side of the family. Also strangely, many of unidentified persons; many taken in Hadley, Mt. Holyoke Mass. Others in Springfield-Conn.
Not much else in helpful information. Looking forward to the opportunity of getting together; hopefully in the near future.
Best regards,
{Jim}
Jim
