Context

12-7-88 Dear Dick: We were willing and glad that you were back in Westerville but we didn't want you to be in St Ann's. Since Sara Kate gave us your home phone number we have tried it several times but no answer. Does this mean they have kept you at St. Ann's a bit longer? We will try to talk before we leave for P.R. next week, the 13th. We are going to be there until the 28th - the longest we have ever stayed since we left there 12+ years ago We have all our fingers crossed hoping that the lady knows her stuff and capable of doing a good job. We will keep trying to contact you before we head for warm weather and balmy beaches. Take extra good care of yourself and may you get to feeling good very, very shortly. We wish you the Merriest of Christmases and a bright and meaningful New Year. All the best to a cherished and revered friend of long standing. Cordially, J&V Smith Wishing you a Merry Christmas and a New Year long remembered for its special moments
