Dear Bro. received your letter a few days past. Was glad to hear from you and to know you are working to get a record of the Dille family. Now I am not able to help you much, but grandfather [Lewis Dille] died in the house Jordan built on father’s farm. I was present when he passed away. Uncle Amos and George were there. When at Uncle George’s he said to tell you grandmother Linscott’s name was Mary Squires.
Absolom Dille had a son, David (Lawyer)
James Dille had son, David R., William W., Henry
Squire Dille had two girls, Isabell and Polly. I think a boy, William.
John South’s had two boys and I think one or two girls
Gabriel South, Henry South. I met one of the girls. Her name was Howard.
Rose Ann McDaniel had three boys, Squire, Warren W., and Jessie. Girl, one girl Martha.
Merace [Maurice] Linscott family – C.M., Augusta, Ida, Oliver, Frances, Elmer, Laura, Flora
Amos Linscott three girls are married Robert Brown, one Jack Mosier, one John Winner, one Joe
Charles Linscott, Frank Linscott, I think there were others, but can’t remember.
Thomas Linscott. If Elmer is not able to give you the information you want about his family if you will write cousin Charles M. White, Vincent, R.F.D., O. He can possibly give you what you want about them. I think Elmer will be able to give you all the information you want about George Linscott.
We are in our usual health. Can’t be but little, if any, change in Helen. I seriously doubt if she is any better or ever will be any better. Harry was married Nov 23rd. Don’t know when they will get to have home. Cassie will be home for her holiday vacation about the 17th of this month. Am quite uneasy about Aunt Date. Helen wrote her quite a while past, then I wrote her later and we have had no word from them, so I have written Iva today. Aunt is in bad shape. Her mind is going very fast. Am sorry for her.
