Dear Dick:
My first 1977 is for you. Happy New Year, and I hope it brings you many good things, but above all, good health.
Many thanks for the check. We will use it to celebrate, - maybe go out for dinner. We hope you had an enjoyable Christmas with the Bierlys. Maybe your are there today, too. We spent four days in Fort Myers, returning on the 28th. Eva's birthday is the 26th. Nana is doing quite well, although she still has to use her walker. Drop her a note when you have time.
I hope you will not go back to full time work too soon. If the doctor thinks it would be wise for you to rest up a bit, our invitation still holds. However, we have been having some very cool weather, and you wouldn't get any pleasure out of lying out in the back yard.
We have been watching some football today. Mich and S. Cal. now, and Ohio State and Colorado tonight at eight.
Do drop us a note every week and let us know how you are doing. We worry about you, Aletha joins me in sending love and best wishes for the New Year.
Dan
Thanks for R D[rg].
