Context

[Letterhead] Law Offices HOLBROCK, JONSON, BRESSLER AND HOUSER HOLBROCK=JONSON BUILDING 315 S. Monument Avenue P. O. BOX 687 Hamilton, Ohio 45012 August 9, 1980 TO THE HEIRS OF CASSIE HARRIS ARNOLD Dear Friends: Everything has been completed now in the matter of Cassie's estate, and I'm ready to file the final account. A copy of that account is enclosed herewith for you information. As you can see, Cassie didn't have much left when she died. The rates kept going up at Otterbein Home until it simply ate up nearly everything she had saved. The last few months she was there the bills for the Home were $45.50 per day. The doctors and prescriptions, of course were extra. As you know, Cassie never wasted a dime, and she was always very cautious about her spending. I'm glad she did not know at the end how much it was costing her to stay at Otterbein. We never felt it was necessary to worry her with it, and, of course, at the end she would not have been able to understand. It was a great privilege to have known Cassie. She was such a wonderful person. How fortunate Dad Arnold was to have had two such marvelous women as his wives! We were always very grateful to her for the way she treated Dad. She never complained, and always had a kind word. Certainly the world was a better place for her having been here. Your check for distribution under Cassie's will is enclosed herewith. Be sure to endorse the check in two places - on the lower left-hand corner of the front of the check and on the back in the usual place. When all of the cancelled checks are returned by the bank, I will be able to file my final my final accounting with the Court. Should you have any questions concerning anything that has been done, don't hesitate to let me know. With kindest regards, I remain Very truly yours, {Pat Arnold} Pat Arnold
