The bearer of this note is Rev. J.H.Harris, D.D, From Dayton, Ohio. I have known this brother quite intimately for more than twenty years, and know him to be a Christian gentleman. He is a regularly licensed and ordained minister in the United Brethren church. He is a good preacher and his character is without blemish. Dr. Harris is loved, honored and respected by his brethren every-where. He served as pastor in several of our largest churches in Ohio. Later he was elected Conference Superintendent which position he held for about ten years. More recently he was President of Bonebrake Theological Seminary.
