Dear Beatrice:- All well here. I have not meant to neglect you & Patsy but so many things have come in. I am planning a "love basket' for Patricia. I am writing to a number of the folks and will call Mrs Kunkle. Each one will send to you a cute little gift. You can then number the gifts and put them in a basket and she can open one each day. I am writing Dan & Aletha, Paul & Margie, Carrie, Hannah, Martha, Mrs. Warson & Nancy. I will call Mrs Kunkle and she can tell your friends up north.
A letter from Dan this morning stated he had signed a contract for Spring Opera at the Metropolitan. We are all so thrilled, and Mrs. Orr is almost walking on air. I want Patsy's basket to be a surprise for her and think things should be in by the last of this week.
With love for both of you
Mother H.
I am enclosing one dollar. I suggest you get some hose or something she needs. You can enclose this card.
