Context

5361 Park Ave Bethel Park, Pa 15102 11/22/74 Dear Malcolm: I received your letter and will write at length after Thanksgiving. You might write to Ernest Lambert's daughter Bette Knapp who is writing a genealogy of the Lambert family. Her address is: Mrs George L. Knapp 3145E - 42nd St Tulsa, Oklahoma 74105 Her grandfather was Dr Oscar Lambert brother of Mayme Lambert Ewing and Rebecca Lambert Hopkins and Chalkly Lambert and one other. Her father was exactly the same age as Earl Hopkins his 1st cousin Earl died at the age of 80 I believe in 1972 at Christmas at his [End of Page 1] daughter's in Columbus, O. John Mayne has a good bit of information. Bette went to England and while there tried to find the ancestral home but could not. My father said an ancestor was banished after the Restoration of Chas II to the Island of Guernsey and from there to the U.S. The earliest recorded name in the U.S. was a John Lambert. Have a nice Thanksgiving. I am going to my son's house, Wm T. Warfel - Big Bend, Wis for Thanksgiving. Sincerely {Pauline Lambert Warfel}
