Miss Lambert,
Westerville, O.
Dear Sweet-heart:
Am waiting for train for home. Found the folks at Athens all right. Carlos and Charles, young Charley, are with me. We talked until after 2 o'clock last night. I hope you got to sleep. I can count on going to bed about the same time tonight, but will likely be in good practice for next wk. I saw Dr. Super this morning. He said I could complete their work nicely in two yrs. Their Greek is more severe than mathematics, but you must keep good heart and not be too sad. I felt pretty lonesome yesterday after leaving you, but think I will have a nice visit.
Marvin scattered some Put-in Bay news and I may have some fun. Be a good girl and I will soon be with you again. If you get this by Monday I think you might answer to Plantsville.
Pardon pencil & paper, Devotedly J. H. Harris.
