Context

April 25th, 1981 Dear Dick - Thank you for your Easter Greeting that arrived yesterday. You have a wrong address for me, — wrong street number and wrong Zip Code, but it was delivered. This is my address: Mrs. John E. Ward The Pines, Apt. 62 1896 Park Meadow Drive Fort Myers, FL 33907 I talked with Dan last evening and I am a bit concerned about him. He has been working much too hard, he misses Aletha beyond words and said he was tired and depressed. I am sure a letter from you now and then would mean a great deal to him. He will be thru at the university soon after May 1st and I am hoping he will come over here for a few days of complete rest. Nana had flu and pneumonia in January. I didn't think she could [End of Page 1] survive, but she did. However, she is now very weak and cannot use her walker. She can walk a very little with two people supporting her. It is hard to see one who has been so active become almost helpless. I stay quite well and it is good to be free of the responsibilities of maintaining a home and car. Again, many thanks for remembering Nana and me at Easter time. Fondly {Eva Ward} [End of Letter] Mrs. John E. Ward The Pines, Apt. 62 1896 Park Meadow Drive Fort Myers, FL 33907 Mr. Richard Harris 5576 Morning St. Worthington, Ohio 43085 [End of Envelope]
