My Dear Joe: — I rec'd your letter last evening and will now grasp a few moments for reply. I went to Galion Sat. and did not return until yesterday P.M. which accounts for me not receiving your letter sooner. I had just a lovely visit with Mrs. Oaks' and met other O.U. students. Last evening I was invited to the “Blind Home” here for supper and had a very enjoyable time I am looking forward to my visit with you as the greatest pleasure I have yet enjoyed. If nothing prevents I will leave St. James at 10 A.M. Fri., I think I can leave Galion at 10:25 (perhaps will not have to change) & can then leave Crestline at 1:45 P.M. If I should fail to make connections in this way I will come on the next train, which I presume is the 11:40.
Please do not send any money. Miss Chandler has made arrangements for me to room with her, & board too I presume.
Lovingly
Bertha Lambert.
