Mr. Richard L. Harris,
King Hall,
Westerville, Ohio.
Friday. [30 January 1931]
Dear Dick:-
I hope you got the leather coat all ok. I sent it last week so you should have it by now.
Work going as well as usual. I have to sing at three different churches Sunday so have been getting ready for that.
We are studying the various instruments of the orchestra in a class that I have today and it is a very interesting subject. Enclosed is a program which the Conservatory Symphony gave last week. It surely was a great program & the orchestra surely did itself justice.
Has the glee club started out yet on its trips? Where will you go this year?
Tomorrow I am going through a private art gallery which is located in an immense building across from the Conserve. It is the largest
& most elaborate art collection outside of New York City & has been collected by a wealthy family here for several generations.
Be sure to see Marie Dressler in "Reducing." I saw it and it surely is crazy.
Write and tell me things.
Love,
Jimmie
