Dear Dick:
We are worried about you, not having heard from you for some time now, - since Thanksgiving, I believe. We surely hope you are not ill. Do drop us a line and bring us up to date. Perhaps you have written and the letter has gone astray.
We were away from Dec. 23 to Jan. 1. We spent three delightful days in Greensboro with Dan and his family, and then went on to New York for the N. A. T. S. convention at the Waldorf Astoria. On Dec. 29 we took the train to New Haven and spent three days with John and Judi, and got acquainted with our new grandson, Zachary. He is a handsome, healthy, well adjusted little boy, and we are very proud to be related to him.
Since returning we have both had colds, but are feeling better now. My work at the University keeps me quite busy.
Do let us hear from you, Dick. If there are problems let us know, and we will try to help. Love from both of us.
Your devoted brother
Dan
