Tom is on Sabbatical, working at the cabin, summarizing research, and chopping wood. He survived a gunshot wound in June, an unsuccessful deer hunting season, and a lap top computer: now he is looking forward to completing the cabin plumbing, writing professional articles and mastering baking apple pie.
Diane did the political thing again but did not get elected. The rest of the campaign was successful tho'. Using the opportunity as a "bully pulpit" she tried to help people think bigger thoughts about our options as a state. She continues in her Job as Executive Director at CCRI, serves on the MN Health Care Commission, and is looking forward to a whole week at the lake this summer for a change!
We had two weddings this fall - Amanda married Fajid Ghauri on Friday, Sept. 11, and Cindy married Tony Tilton on Saturday, Sept. 12. No we're not crazy. Actually we had a ball for 4 days straight! Pakistani dress on Friday, Renaissance on Saturday.
