Dear Richard:
I have been thinking about you today. What are your plans for the summer? There are a good many family things, genealogical, etc., that should be sorted out and perhaps copied. Are you at all interested in coming down for a few days? When would you be free? I would be happy to help with the expenses. We really should talk over a lot of things.
I appreciated your taking care of the flowers at Easter. Would you feel like putting something on Dad's grave for July 14?
I keep busy with teaching, and am active in Rotary. I have some very talented pupils, including one who has a grant from the National Opera Institute, Kennedy Center, to permit him to prepare himself for opera conducting. I am gradually learning to take care of myself after many years of being spoiled by Aletha. Of course I miss her more than I can say.
Nana will be 103 on July 22. She is now living at Shady Rest Nursing Home, 2300 N. Airport Road, Ft. Myers, Fla., 33907. (Mrs. Florence Stacey) She is the oldest resident, and they make quite a fuss over her. It go to be too much of a burden for Eva, and the doctors encouraged Eva to make the decision. Nana has adjusted well to the situation. Try to send her a card, with a little note. No flowers. Nor room for them.

Eva and I flew up for John's wedding June 27. It was a beautiful occasion, with the reception out doors. She is a lovely person, - Patricia, - and has established a good relationship with Zachary, John's little boy, now six. Their address for the next month or so will be Mr. and Mrs. John L. Harris, White Hollow Road, Northford, Conn. 06472.
Do let me hear from you. I hope you can make arrangements of fly down. Round trips over Sunday cost less. Plan to stay several days. We don't have much time left, Dick, and we really ought to get together to reminisce a bit.
With much love,
Dan
